Position Overview

This position supervises the Travel consultants and ensures that the sales Objectives are met. The incumbent is also responsible for training and guiding his/her team.
Responsibilities:
Sales and clients
  • Supervise the assigned Inbound Department in daily business activities.
  • Handle tasks of Travel Consultant in creating inbound travel itineraries including detailed programs and price proposals; providing information on travel in destination and advising on suitable options; issuing all travel documents.
  • Maintain, develop good relationships with existing customers (individuals, groups).
  • Liaise with EXO – Sales Office.
Operations
  • Keep oneself informed and updated of all operational aspects in Department.
  • Supervise and assist the team to solve complicated problems if any.
  • Make required policy & procedures and consultant guidelines and communicate to ensure implementation.
  • Manage & report to Inbound Manager any disciplinary matters and customer complaints. Inform the teams about the problems and solutions.
  • Supervise and assist team in providing professional and excellent level of customer service to existing and new customers.
Quality and Reporting
  • Supervise business travel inquiries of Departments and important correspondences from consultants to clients (and particularly programs and quotations).
  • Control the information input in the Tourplan software.
  • Ensure all sales are reported in Tourplan software as well as sales report.
Accounting
  • Assist accounting department in regard to payment matters and follow up with client on invoice, credit note, refund, payment, receipt.
  • Alert Inbound Manager or accounting department in case of non-payment.
Administration and Supervising 
  • Keep good communication with team members.
  • Create a supportive working relationship in the team.
  • Assist Inbound Manager in leading, directing and motivating team in order to achieve the overall sales objectives.
  • Manage the volume of activity by distributing the daily work to team.
  • Make sure all team members adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Coach and train new comers to adapt to department’s operations. Identify the training needs, and supervise the implementation of training plan.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Hospitality, Tourism, or other related field
  • Good command of written and spoken English/ Spanish/ German/ French (depending on department assigned)
  • A minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role; Experience in Tourism field is a must

  • Hands-on experience, with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • High degree of customer service with an eye for detail and presentation
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to develop good communication with the suppliers and the team
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staffs
  • Good computer literacy (MS Office; Travel related software)
